Making sure data arrives safely. When transmitted over long distances, data can run out of steam. To prevent this from happening, we use repeaters. Repeaters, which strengthen or retransmit optical signals, are installed roughly every 80 km along the route, ensuring that the signal is just as strong when data reaches its destination as it was at the start.

In a pilot project, we have tested the solution in detail with one of our customers in order to be able to provide you with an ideal standard. As a result, the repeater solution is now a fixed component of our dark fiber offering.
